LEMON GROVE, Calif. (June 20, 2018) – Monte Vista Village, a premier senior living community, was honored with the City of Lemon Grove’s Proclamation, making June 5, 2018 as Monte Vista Village Day.

The Mayor of Lemon Gove, Racquel Vasquez, declared, “June 5, 2018 as ‘Monte Vista Village Day’ in recognition of the role this business has played in the growth and development of Lemon Grove.”

Since 1972, Monte Vista Village rapidly became one of the most prestigious communities of its kind in San Diego County for its efficient management, meticulous care of residents, beautiful campus, and progressive policies for those in their senior years.

Maria Shetler, Executive Director at Monte Vista Village, adds, “Thank you, Mayor Vasquez and the City of Lemon Grove for this incredible honor and recognition. For the past 46 years our community has delivered superior care and service to our residents in an amenity rich and beautiful environment. It’s a privilege to be part of the Monte Vista Village team.”

Community outreach brings many local groups to the spacious auditorium to hold events, meetings and luncheons that are also enjoyed by the residents, maintaining strong relationships within the Lemon Grove community and surrounding areas.
