Monte Vista Village Invites the Community to “Take Charge of Your Health” with a Financial Check Up

LEMON GROVE, Calif. (March 20, 2014)  Monte Vista Village, a senior living community located 10 minutes east of downtown San Diego, is inviting members of the city and surrounding communities to become financially fit for retirement by attending its “Take Charge of Your Health!” session on Tuesday, April 8 at 11:00 a.m. Noted local financial consultant Jonathan Doering of Thrivent Financial will be the guest speaker for the complimentary Lunch & Learn session to be held in the auditorium at Monte Vista Village at 2211 Massachusetts Avenue.

Guest speaker Jonathan Doering has been recognized as San Diego Magazine’s 2014 Five Star Wealth Manager Award recipient.

Doering will discuss:

  • Financial mistakes to avoid while in retirement
  • How to sell a house, and increasing the probability of investment success
  • New tax laws for 2014, and more
